What MMORPGs do you recommend for me?
I've been enjoying RuneScape since 2006, though it feels quite different now. I recently tried playing again and found the experience changed significantly. Are there other MMOs similar to RS or other quality games worth trying? Keep in mind I also played World of Warcraft before and didn’t enjoy it, but I’m open to giving it another shot.

Rusty Hearts offers an entertaining experience with impressive music tracks. The battles focus on its powerful combat style, combining slash and hack mechanics with charming visuals. While it may not be the highest quality title, it has its own appeal and works well as a casual pastime. The game features an anime-inspired look and straightforward design, making it accessible and quick to start.
I've rarely encountered many MMOs with that kind of skill system. I believe much of it faded when everyone tried to mimic the WoW approach. It's disappointing, but it was a format that attracted a big audience. Eve Online is the only one that comes to mind these days. The training happens live, though. It becomes a solid game once you commit and pick a good guild. As @Tacitus mentioned, Jagex had the 2007 RS version again.
