For a long time I relied on the YouTube Video and Audio Downloader (Dev Edt.) add-on for Firefox, but it appears to be inactive now, around two months ago. And before anyone complains
"That's piracy!"
The Kurzgesagt channel promotes sharing free videos as long as users don't misrepresent ownership. I had to download those videos for my classes because the internet connection at my workplace is poor.

If the owner or poster permits downloads, they must provide a download link. Using any other method would breach forum guidelines, so this discussion is now closed.
