Transferring files and data between computers is straightforward, but moving programs along with their data is definitely more challenging. How can I achieve this?

You don't. Just set up the software you need on the new machine. Anything else will lead to a confusing and inconsistent experience depending on the program.

It might be possible to use a clone, assuming you aim for the second device to mirror the first in both software and components. This could affect whether licensing is transferred.

Many applications store their configurations and user-specific information in the directory C:\Users\[Username]. You can perform a complete transfer and paste, ignoring any files that Windows reports issues with.

There is no connection to licenses. Both machines include a Windows 10 Pro license (upgraded from Windows 7 Pro). The applications are either free or can be used on any computers, provided they are not running simultaneously.

Certain apps can be copied without effort from one system to another.
Others struggle with this process.
Upon initial installation, an application creates numerous entries in the Registry and other places.
The alternative operating system or system has no awareness of these changes.
There isn't a guaranteed universal solution.

Do you want me to copy everything from C:\Users\[Username] so it's safe? Yes, I understand and will proceed. I just want to keep the data and settings intact with the programs.

It seems the question got a bit confusing. Could you clarify what you mean?

Because the programs can't be moved, I must reinstall them. The key concern is whether they can still reach the necessary data as before.
