How can I eliminate this FPS counter? I don’t know how I got it, but I’m really confused about how to disable it.

Hey there,
This is either about an overlay such as MSI Afterburner, HWInfo, Riva Tuner, or a built-in FPS counter on your monitor. For the monitor, check the menu for a reset option and see if it resolves the issue. If not, identify the app or overlay running and disable the OSD (On Screen display). That should help. Let us know what you experience.

There’s no overlay active. All programs are closed and startup apps are disabled. I’m asking if anyone can identify what’s running and fix it.

There appears to be some activity related to the fps counter. Check if Winspy++ might assist.
Question – How can I identify which application is triggering a random pop-up window?
Recently, I’ve noticed a small pop-up window appearing on my screen with the title "Error" and the message "Method Invoke Failed." in its body. I don’t see any clues about which app or process might be responsible for this unexpected...

Did you restart the display or look through the monitor settings for a frames-per-second indicator?

The monitor cannot track GPU and CPU usage rates and display this data as shown.
