What method is used to circumvent the password for a Toshiba Click Mini Bios device?
I have a Toshiba Satellite Click Mini L9W-B. When it starts, it displays “Enter Password:”. I received this machine from a friend who never set one. It seems it uses a BIOS password, as it prompts for it immediately after booting and not in the operating system. I’ve tried various backdoor passwords and looked for information about the BIOS chip location on the motherboard, but found nothing useful. The manual doesn’t provide much guidance either. I recall that after charging and turning it on, the system mentioned a reset of the date/time. I’m also unsure how to access the BIOS setup, probably because it requires a password. Anyone have more details or advice?
Sorry, but the forum guidelines forbid help with circumventing passwords, BIOS or similar.
If a password is present, it was likely set by someone.
Consult your friend or contact Toshiba.
