This game seems oddly difficult for an older version—what’s the most straightforward solution to fix it?

Absolutely, it does function properly on Windows 10. Let me know if you need anything else!

Very likely, yes.
I've experienced Commander Keen and Quake I on a Windows 10 system.

I altered even the registry files but it didn’t work. I didn’t purchase the Steam version, yet it looks similar to the free one—possibly worse since some people have modified it to make installation easier on Windows 10 with certain free versions. I tried following one of the guides carefully, but at the end my display options weren’t recognized. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated; it might just be a matter of luck. Consider running Windows 95 for old games on a separate drive or using a PS1 emulator.

The Steam edition would include all connections to the Steam service.
It is available for purchase, so it should function properly.

From the reviews, it seems many people don't like it.

Yes, I can try installing Windows despite the reviews. It seems some users had issues and temporarily removed it due to problems with playback.

Is it deliberate for Microsoft to omit certain essential functions to influence purchasing decisions, or is it challenging to develop such a system?
