Hey everyone, I'm searching for a reliable mail program. My dad prefers Live Mail right now, but he used Incredimail in the past and it didn’t work well after the company stopped supporting it. I need something that supports IMAP and POP mail smoothly, with good readability labels, custom rules for incoming messages, an all-in-one inbox for multiple accounts, and a backup tool that stores files in a format only the program understands. It shouldn’t have to be free, but if possible, it should save in a unique way. Bonus: I’d appreciate any suggestions while I explore Thunderbird with add-ons, since relying on one product feels risky. I don’t want to risk everything on just one solution.

Postbox is an excellent service. It's unclear if it's still under development, but you can visit their website at http://www.postbox-inc.com/.

The mentioned programs include Thunderbird and Outlook as the top options. Other choices are eM Client, Mailbird, and Apple Mail.

I've found eM Client to be fast and well-designed. It integrates smoothly with Outlook and Exchange EWS, performing excellently in both cases. I haven't tested it with Pop, but the free version limits me to two email accounts.
