You haven’t received both RAM models. If you have one, it might limit future upgrades like a 4080 gigabyte capacity.

Verify whether your motherboard uses a T-topology layout for RAM setups. If it matches your board’s configuration, it means all memory channels are active, which is ideal. For compatibility, avoid CL18 at 3600MHz—it’s not recommended. Upgrading to higher tiers would be beneficial if you can afford it. Ensure your RAM appears on the motherboard’s Qualification Voltage List for optimal performance. Aim for speeds between 3200-3600MHz; choose CL14 or better for 3200MHz, and CL16 or better for 3600MHz. Voltage should be around 1.3-1.4V, preferably 1.35V or lower for flexibility in future overclocking. Decide whether you want to increase capacity or stick with 16GB. Your current kit works well and is Samsung B-Die compatible, making it suitable for pushing RAM beyond XMP limits: https://smile.amazon.com/G-Skill-Trident...01MS6EL43/ If you prefer a more affordable option, consider 4x4GB modules, especially if your board supports full channel usage. Remember, the old belief that fully populated slots hurt overclocking isn’t true with this design—check your specific model for confirmation.

The design is 288, that’s all I understand. I need something with a lower profile since I can’t fit everything under the cooler. I’m looking for the beat option at a reasonable cost—not $300, even $200 feels too steep. I’m struggling to find the best deal in my country or locally; the only one I saw was on Corsair’s site, but it wasn’t available on Amazon. I’m also unsure if there’s tax insurance from Corsair and the price is too high. I want to upgrade to 32GB, but I don’t know if my motherboard supports 2 or 4 slots.

This model costs around $200 when available and offers excellent XMP profile options. Are you planning to upgrade to 32GB or keep it at 16GB? Choosing the latter reduces your price range significantly, as 32GB units are much more expensive.
