What makes the laptop cooler choice between IETS and LLano?
Guys, I'm planning to purchase a laptop cooler for my gaming laptop because it's having overheating problems. Should I choose the IETS GT500 cooler or the LLano laptop cooler?
I'm actually facing the same situation, either IETS or Llano. I ended up choosing the latter.
I think the Llano cooler is more of a competitor to the IETS 6xx model, not the 5xx ones. The IETS 6xx cooler is significantly better than the 5xx models.
Yet the 6xx version doesn't seem available in the west; ordering from AliExpress would cost about €30-40 more than Llano and would arrive much quicker (especially for me in the EU), which influenced my decision.
In general, I don't believe the IETS 626 is superior to the Llano, they're just trading blows. But I still think the Llano is a lot better than the IETS 5xx.
IETS has magnets on the foam (which isn't a major issue), but it trades the wheel for a touch pad that feels quite frustrating to use for adjusting fan speed.
Yes, in my situation it wasn't too much deliberation. The 5xx option was accessible and more affordable, yet according to what I've learned online, the performance gap between it and the 6xx version is quite noticeable. However, ordering from Aliexpress would cost around €150, and I'd probably face a 25% VAT, bringing the price up to about €190.
