Searching for top-tier gaming laptops within a $3000-3500 budget. The Razer Blade 15 Advanced with the 3080 Ti remains a strong contender. A 15-inch size seems ideal for you.

Unless you require the mobility of a laptop, a desktop offers better performance or lower cost.
I notice numerous complaints about gaming laptops underperforming.
Typically, gaming occurs while connected to a power source.
A frequent reason is thermal throttling.
Laptop coolers are often small and lightweight by necessity.
They also tend to be less powerful in cooling.
Check the cooling capabilities of your options.

I should consider getting a laptop soon because I plan to relocate next year. Having a desktop would be more practical then. If I move again later, transporting everything would be expensive and time-consuming—like disassembling parts and shipping them separately would be a hassle. In the long run, I might sell my current laptop for a desktop once I’m settled in a place I can truly use. Still, I need recommendations for strong gaming laptops with 3080 Ti 16GB right now, anyone?

Laptop seems reasonable then.
Look for a review of a candidate on a platform like ultrabook review.
There’s one for a Lenovo Legion 7 gen 7 that appears to handle cooling well:

In the past, I appreciated calling Lenovo directly and speaking with a salesperson.
They have in-depth knowledge of their products and can recommend options tailored to your requirements.
After that, Lenovo frequently runs promotions, and the representatives are aware of some deals you might not know about.
