Hello,
I’m based in Sweden and am assisting my dad in picking out a laptop. I’ve compared the options we found online that fit his budget of 15-20k SEK:

MSI Vector GP66 – i7-12700H & 3070Ti – 19990 SEK (~1900 USD)
Lenovo Legion 5 Pro – i7-12700H & 3070 - 19990 SEK (~1900 USD)
MSI Katana GF66 – i7-12700H & RTX 3070 – 16990 SEK (~1625 USD)

The Vector offers a better GPU, but the Lenovo has stronger build quality and cooling, and it’s lighter. For regular browsing, YouTube, and light gaming, a 3060 should suffice. He might need something durable for 5-10 years, or if he stays within the lower budget, I’d suggest the Legion 5 Pro with an i5-12500H and RTX 3060 (14490 SEK).

All three models come with a 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, and a 1440p display at 144+Hz. They’re quite similar except for the graphics card and price.

Does this list look reasonable? Which one do you think would be best?
Thanks in advance!

He'll employ it for everyday surfing, YouTube, and a bit of gaming. The laptops listed are quite high-end, though I'm interested in understanding what games your dad would enjoy and at which resolution. Yes, your dad would be satisfied with a more affordable model for the same duration you've mentioned.
