So yes, I experienced some issues with my motherboard. It seems it was likely affected by a failing PSU. I replaced it because the system wasn’t displaying anything and the VGA LED was lit, leading me to suspect the motherboard itself. After installing an MSI B550M Pro-VDH Wi-Fi, it functioned properly for a few months. However, after being away from home for a month, when I returned, the PC started working briefly before restarting due to updates and then losing the VGA display entirely.

I considered the GPU as the next possible cause, replacing it with an older Radeon HD 7790 that worked well for basic tasks. Later, trying a GTX 1650 lent by a friend also caused problems. The HD 7790 remained functional, but the other components had recurring issues, which is unusual. I’m unsure what’s causing the problem now and how to resolve it.

PC specifications:
Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH Wi-Fi
PSU: Gigabyte P650B
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200 MHz (single-channel)
Storage: Green 1TB + Seagate Barracuda 1TB
GPUs: Gigabyte AMD RX 560, Radeon HD 7790 (only one that works), GTX 1650

When swapping GPUs, did you:
1. Start in Safe Mode
2. Remove existing GPU drivers
3. Use DDU to eliminate remaining drivers
4. Install the newest GPU drivers from the GPU website (Radeon or Nvidia)?
If not, then other GPUs won’t function properly even if drivers are installed for another GPU.

Currently, GPUs can operate without drivers thanks to built-in display drivers, though they’re suitable only for basic tasks and web use.

The PSU model and make were? Or is it the same Gigabyte P650B you’re using now?
A low-quality PSU might have caused problems, possibly damaging other components.

It shows you’re using Tier C.

For a new PSU, consider Tier A options such as Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, or Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium.
A 550W unit works well; a 650W is also fine.

My three PCs are powered by Seasonic, and I have PRIME 650 Titanium (Tier A+), PRIME Ultra 650 Titanium (Tier A+), and Focus PX-550 (Tier A). Detailed specs with photos are in my profile.
