Lately my computer has been acting up, with both monitors shutting down. I still catch audio, then after a short delay the RGB lights stop except for the RAM, and afterward the RAM and fans seem to keep running until I press the power button. This usually occurs during games or stressful tasks, though temperatures look normal just before the crash. I’ve reset everything and reinstalled Windows, tried a different PSU, but it still happens. My setup includes an Nvidia 3070, Ryzen 9 5900, Asus Prime x570-P, and Corsair 750W Gold.

Test using a different GPU? What PSU were you using for the previous test?

What brand and model are we talking about? The gold price alone doesn't reveal the true quality.

Crash dumps are activated on your machine.
Available crash dump locations:
C:\WINDOWS
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
On Fri 7/21/2023 3:34:12 PM a malfunction occurred on your computer or an issue was logged
Stored crash file:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\072123-8578-01.dmp (Minidump)
Bugcheck identifier:
0x133(0x1, 0x1E00, 0xFFFFF8063C8FB320, 0x0)
Name of the bug:
DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
Which driver or module failed:
amdppm.sys
(
amdppm+0x2fa7)
Location of the file:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\amdppm.sys
Details:
Processor Device Driver
Manufacturer:
Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
Organization:
Microsoft Corporation
Bug check summary:
The DPC watchdog identified an extended runtime at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or higher. This might stem from a non-responsive driver or hardware not responding. A thermal problem could also trigger this issue.
Insight:
Analysis suggests a hardware fault is probable, though a malfunctioning driver remains a potential cause. The bug check confirms a timeout event. Such events may result from hardware failure (like overheating) or a driver bug for a device.
For more details on thermal concerns, refer to the linked article.
A comprehensive memory dump could offer deeper insights into this bug. The incident occurred within a Microsoft module; its description might point to a non-functioning component in your system.
