What is this and what is it worth (Intel Atom motherboard)
I assemble and refurbish PCs for extra income, and recently acquired a very affordable machine (focusing on the case, power supply, and hard drive). It fits perfectly. Someone told me it was operating as a router. The motherboard includes an Ethernet port that seems to be an add-on, though I’m not sure. My current setup consists of a motherboard with an Intel Atom processor, only 24-pin power connection. The board uses DDR2 memory (comes with two 800 MHz modules). Is it OEM? (The green PCB suggests it might be.) What is its purpose and worth? What can you do with it?
It’s unclear what it offers beyond a standard home computer with no sound.
Consider how you want to present it. If you plan to use it personally, you might skip selling it. If you're looking to make money, think about selling it. Disposal is an option if neither of those fits your goals.
I'll check if anyone is searching for this and then proceed accordingly.
It isn't considered valuable, but it lacks substantial worth. The processor offers modest performance and power usage. Could suit basic server tasks, such as the one described earlier. The compact mini-ITX design might allow it to fit in a limited enclosure.
