What is this AMD Radeon software called?
I believe this came with my new ABS "Ruby" computer. I don’t use Radeon and my GPU is an Nvidia RTX 4070. I’ve glanced through some of their guides, but following my rule of not clicking without understanding, I’m curious about its purpose. Now that I have a solid setup with a good GPU and everything works fine, I don’t want to make any mistakes. Still, I’m interested in whether this app could be helpful. What’s the general opinion here?
Thanks very much for your ongoing support!
Please continue with your current setup, as the chipset and Ryzen Master are already present in your system.
Can be turned off in BIOS and removed from Windows, it's unnecessary unless you're using a laptop.
To identify your CPU model, utilize CPU-Z. The display you observe is typically due to an integrated GPU found in G-series Ryzen processors. CPU-Z is a free tool that collects details about key system components such as processor name, number, codename, process, package, cache levels, mainboard and chipset, memory specifications, and more.
I checked my CPUID on my desktop and did some research. Even though my tech skills are basic, I thought it might be useful to track my system. If it helps here, I’ll keep it. I wouldn’t open BIOS unless someone was there with me—just hearing the word makes me nervous. 😁
