I'll consider another alternative, my 4770K is running at 4.6ghz with 1.3Vcore on a Corsair H105, operates around 75c with lower fan speeds (the fans are noisy at full speed). The 4790K offers superior heat dissipation. I'm really satisfied with this heatsink.

I'll consider another alternative, my 4770K is running at 4.6ghz with 1.3Vcore on a Corsair H105, operates around 75c with lower fan speeds (the fans are noisy at full speed). The 4790K offers superior heat dissipation. I'm really satisfied with this heatsink.

The r1 performs well for a 4.7 to 4.9 depencies on the chip and case cooling. Basically, either option works. However, with the r1 you don’t have to worry about a pump failing later or the chance of a leak.
