What is the top choice for a laptop with built-in graphics under $350?
According to the questionnaire:
1. The budget reaches about $375
2. No specific size preference
3. Desire for a 15.6" or 16" display
4. Intended as a desktop replacement for my mom, but possibly used as a portable device within the next two years
5. Battery life isn't a priority
6. Looking for solid integrated graphics, such as i5 1135G7, suitable for games up to around 2015 or 2020. Medium settings would be ideal
7. Not requiring photo/video editing capabilities
8. 512GB storage is acceptable
9. Prefer purchasing from Bestbuy, Lenovo on sale, Amazon, Newegg, and possibly B&H
10. Aim for a product with a lifespan of at least five years
11. No need for an optical drive
12. Preferred brands: HP, Lenovo, Asus. I won't consider Dell, and Acer seems unreliable
13. Located in the USA
14. Favor buying new equipment with an older CPU. I value decent ports but am trying to save here. Integrated graphics are sufficient. Seeking 16GB RAM; researching the many soldered or 'onboard' components is exhausting. A good screen would be nice.
I've identified several models matching these criteria, but only from third-party sellers. I'm also thinking about the Ryzen 3 7320U, though it seems the i5 performs better for gaming. It would be helpful to ask here what I should focus on.
Appreciate any suggestions,
Mac
Man, things are different now. You can't find a decent laptop for that price anymore.
Sorry, but that's the reality.
Brand new with ok integrated graphics...? You'll need around $700. If you're ok with refurbished you may be able to find one for $450-500.
A quick look got me something like this -

Cupon code FEBIDEA1 may get you another $140 off.
Without going the refurbished route this is close to the best you're gonna get.
