I have just placed an order for my daughter a Huion Kamvas 13 drawing tablet and I should be prepared to get her a laptop in case hers isn’t compatible.
The tablet requirements are:
- USB-C port on phones, tablets, and computers must support USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2 Alt mode
- A full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable should also support the same protocol and DP1.2 Alt mode
She will be using various drawing apps along with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Anyone have suggestions for a laptop that meets these specifications, whether used or new, aiming for the best budget option while ensuring a smooth experience?

Apple MacBooks are clearly among the top laptops available today. They provide strong durability, impressive performance, high efficiency, and long battery life. For a more mid-range option, consider the 13" MacBook Air. It features Thunderbolt 4, which is essentially USB-C but much faster. MacBooks also allow for multiple displays at 4K 60 or a single display up to 6K resolution at 60Hz. You can always find a used model, but
