Current top phone processors vary by use case. Previously, MediaTek chips faced heat issues and limited LTE/GPS coverage. Today, Snapdragon still offers strong performance, while MediaTek processors are now more affordable and efficient, using less power. For optimal performance with multiple features active—like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS—these chips tend to handle them better than older generations. However, running several services simultaneously can strain LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth if the device is under heavy load. There’s also emerging competition from Unisoc, but opinions on their quality are still developing.
