On Msi Afterburner I'm attempting to push my GTX 970 overclock as high as possible without increasing voltage, and it looked like I reached +139 without any changes. I'm curious about the extra voltage needed to hit +155, which would be an additional +16. PC specs show the motherboard supports up to +139 core clock, so I was wondering what voltage boost is required for that higher value.

Only need to add one volt and check.
If not sufficient, proceed with two volts, then three, four, five, six, or eight volts until successful.
It seems a pattern might exist, but I won’t overclock.
I think the idea is to follow a systematic method—take steps of five volts each time, test and record.
