It’s unclear whether a motherboard supports 128GB RAM with four slots, and using 32GB sticks isn’t necessarily required. Check the specifications for your specific model. Minimum RAM requirements also vary by system, so it’s best to confirm those details.

There are additional limitations like RAM speed and CAS latency, but there isn't a strict minimum for the motherboard itself, probably.

To get the most RAM, you should use four 32GB modules paired together. The least you need is eight GB with two 4GB modules combined.

Yes, for 128GB RAM you require 32GB modules. If you prefer a different capacity, choose any size that fits the required version (ddr2, ddr3, Ddr4).

The minimum requirement is 4GB. A single channel is also available as an alternative.

We chose 8GB to enable dual-channel operation from the beginning and because it meets the baseline needs of most ready-made systems today.

However, that's just the baseline for some generic software, not the actual motherboard he inquired about. Also, enabling dual-channel isn't a required feature.

However, the details provided aren't accurate. New boards require at least one stick, and DDR4 needs a minimum of 4GB. (Except for so-dimm which offers 2GB)
