I recently bought a custom-built PC at my local flea market. Before proceeding, I want to let you know I’m still very new to the PC scene. I’ve only used a Mac before, which isn’t really helpful here. I’ve shared some photos of the machine and a set of cords that came with it. I’m not sure if everything is in working order or if there are any missing parts, and I don’t know how good the build quality is—though it definitely looks like a high-end model. I understand technology changes fast, so I’m asking for advice on what I have and how to fix any issues. My 13-year-old son is an avid gamer who loves Xbox, and he’s been wanting a PC for a long time. His birthday is near, and I’d love to get it set up and ready for him. Thanks for taking the time to help me out on this forum.

What are the specifications for the system, if you can identify the make and model of all installed parts?
Could you explain why the GPU isn't receiving power?
How much did you spend on this purchase?
The Molex connector on the motherboard indicates it's quite outdated.
This seems to be the motherboard:

Ancient.

I don’t understand the specifications. I’m unsure about the GPU and why it isn’t linked. The Molex is connected? Not sure. I bought it for $800.

You spent a lot more than necessary for this. A better, more advanced system could have been created with the same budget.
Begin by identifying the power supply's make and model using the label on its side. The required details should be visible there.
Also, confirm whether liquid is present in the cooling system.

DO NOT POWER ON!!! This device will start cooking immediately. Is there any possibility to exchange the product and receive a refund?

I get it. I didn’t plan to proceed until I included distilled water and double-checked the installation. No returns, all good.

This motherboard was released in the early 2010s and didn't do well then. It will struggle significantly with modern games. The PSU is more than sufficient for the rest of the system. Begin by plugging the PCIe power cables into the GPU and PSU. Search online for your PSU model to find the manual, then pick the right cables from the options available and connect them properly. You'll also want to check the wires to see if the pump is linked to power.

Checked out power supply options. Looks like a good choice. Cost is $499 on Amazon.
