I have started experimenting with overclocking and am trying to understand if I’m missing any risks or negative effects.
Right now, my AMD Radeon HD 5700 runs at a Core Clock of 900MHz and a Memory Clock of 1250MHz. With the fan set to auto, temperatures stay between 35-45%.
I’m curious about the limits—I wonder if I can push it even higher without issues. Even under heavy load, the GPU stays around 50-55°C, and drops to 35-39°C when idle.

Download EVGA Precision to assist in achieving maximum overclock. Keep in mind that an OC hd5700 won't significantly boost FPS. The card is quite outdated.

I used this article as a solid beginning and, to my surprise, those speeds performed exceptionally well. Nothing unusual, just smooth performance across the board. No stutters, looks great, with top temperatures reaching 66 degrees.
