Hey everyone, I’m reaching out for some advice. Today I purchased a used PS4 controller and tested it on the Gamepad Test website. Everything seems to be functioning properly, though the average analog error is around 11% or higher. I’m not sure if that’s significant. My other controller stopped working, so I brought in mine first. They said the board was faulty, but my previous one worked perfectly with no input delay and performed flawlessly. This new controller feels off—there’s a noticeable input lag. I bought it specifically for Rocket League, which is very competitive. It seems too slow, especially with a 75Hz monitor (4ms). I went to the DS4 settings and overclocked it to 1ms max, but nothing changed. Even at 720p resolution, the input delay remains. I just need your help to figure out what’s going on.

Note: My first controller had severe input lag when my TV was on; changing the resolution fixed it. With a 75Hz monitor, I didn’t need to adjust anything. With this new one, nothing changes despite my efforts. Thanks in advance for your support!

reinstall the Bluetooth drivers
unpair the previous PS4 controller, as it's no longer needed
the analog error might be the cause too, though I can't verify this
