Hi, this is my initial post and I'm curious if anyone has any information about the highest overclock possible for my CPU with this configuration:
CPU: AMD Fx-8350 (currently 4.00ghz) cooled with Cooler Master 412s
PSU: Corsair 750w bronze
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
GPU: EVGA GTX 970 ACX cooling
RAM: 16GB Dual Channel
HDD: Seagate 1tb
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 120gb
Please let me know!

That's a great cooler, so you're only limited by the cpu 'lottery' and motherboard regulators.

Unfortunately, no one can provide a clear response to that. Overclocking relies on various elements such as:
The chance of your specific 8350 working well (some perform better than others)
The condition of your motherboard – yours only has 4+1 power phases, which is quite advanced for a 8350…more suited for a 6300
The condition of your PSU – which Corsair model do you use?
The strength of your CPU cooler
And ultimately the expertise of the overclocker.
Considering your setup with an 8350, you probably won’t see amazing results.
