Both require roughly the same storage capacity, around 20-25GB. This consistency is confirmed by various references.

From 10 to 11, performance remains comparable.
However, as time passes, the C drive accumulates more data.
Having a smaller drive or partition offers minimal advantages.

Thank you for your message. I noticed that most transitions from an older OS to a newer one used to cause a huge size increase—like from Windows 3.11 to 95, 98, Me, XP, 7 (I skipped Vista, 8 & 8.1) and up to 10. When looking at the installer media for versions 10 and 11, the difference appears much smaller than in earlier releases.

The current base installation of 10 or 11 shows a much smaller difference compared to earlier version updates. Additionally, the base installation of Win 10 from 2015/6 differs from that of Win 10 in 2024.
