What is the comparison between PSU and estimated PD?
Hello everyone. Here is the link to my current build:

Will I encounter problems with my PSU? I've already assembled the rig and the 5080 is brand new, everything else is about a month and a half old. Impulse bought the 5080 a week ago and began wondering about my PSU after purchasing the new card. Is this enough? Should I definitely upgrade my PSU again? I also have some GPU and MB strimmers. The link indicates an estimated usage of around 800W. Only overclocking has been done via XMP in BIOS, so is this considered overclocking? I'm not very experienced with overclocking or undervolting, so I probably won't try it myself either. Any advice, suggestions, or tips would be really helpful. I just want to avoid buying a new PSU if I can manage without it.
Your current setup of 850W Gold+ seems solid. Your manual estimate of 799 aligns well with the high-end specs from the PC part picker. You should be confident in your choice. If you ever consider an upgrade, it’s a good idea to go ahead.
In general, I would opt for a quality PSU with around 1,000 Watts, possibly at a higher price. Just to ensure there’s enough power for unexpected needs and future expansion.
Manufacturers usually advertise the maximum possible wattage they can deliver under ideal conditions, while component makers focus on the lowest actual consumption needed.
My guideline is to sum the required wattages and increase them by 25%, which many consider excessive. But more watts are better than less. Also, PSUs only supply the power the host system requires at any moment.
Not someone who overclocks; I’ll let those who do it know how they decide or adjust the PSU capacity.
