I own a powerful machine, but sometimes I visit friends and need to play without my laptop overheating. My internet speed isn’t top-notch—it’s okay but not fast. (5mbit up and down) My system has solid hardware – specs include an I7-4790K with R9 290 and 16GB RAM. Looking for a good streaming option with low latency? Desktop sharing sounds nice, though it might not be ideal for real-time playback.

They don’t provide streaming directly from your personal device, but they have options through their own infrastructure instead.

I’d recommend Splashtop, though it requires being on the same local network. Steam does offer streaming capabilities, but it’s unclear if gameplay can be transmitted over the internet reliably.

I've checked various streaming services, but they usually don't offer the games I'm looking for.

I need to connect to a building that isn’t mine. My cat uses Cat 6 from my router to my PC.
