I use a mic that came with Dragon Dictate about five years ago. I've been looking online for a better quality device that will actually capture my voice clearly when I'm dictating; unlike the poor quality one I currently have. A top-notch microphone is essential because of my disability, which prevents me from typing quickly. Around $75 would be ideal.

I don't require one with a headset. Thanks.

I prefer the Blue Snowball mic at a lower cost, the regular model includes a pickup switch, while the ICE is more affordable but only has one pickup setting. Marantz is also a solid option for the price range.

You're welcome for your assistance. I checked the link but noticed a Blue Yeti Nano condenser mic priced at eighty dollars. I've seen good reviews about Blue Yeti's overall quality, but not specifically this version. What are your thoughts?

I'm not familiar with their other models, but I use the Blue myself. We had a bigger Yeti at work for conference calls, but I can't really assess the quality from there.

I've been testing it for a few days and am really impressed by its performance and word recognition. Now I just need to locate a suitable program to train it.
