what would be the optimal configuration for broadcasting big high definition videos, 4k material from your synology to your tv.
i’m mainly worried about the equipment.
firetv has issues with 4k content,
would a nvidea shield pro perform better, and are there other options besides an nvidia shield?

What is the targeted TV using? Any chance of the TV using a wired connection?
Same question for the NAS.
This sounds like network issues more than anything else.
