What is the best auto-overclock software?
I usually rely on Asus AI Suite for updates, but I'm wondering if there are other options available today that can automatically optimize my system to a reliable and excellent state.
Actually, the most reliable method is always to perform an OC through the BIOS. That's the only sure way to maintain stability. Ryzen Master works well for Ryzen chips, and the Asus AI is also decent. They're enjoyable to use, but for consistent and repeatable outcomes, a software-based OC isn't the best choice.
I concur with keith12. I've experimented with the Asus software and noticed it often applies excessive voltage to the CPU. This might be an issue on my setup, but it functions and provides a useful reference.
Do you have an extremely straightforward OC guide you can follow? I'm new to this and don't want to risk damaging my CPU. I've used AI Suite before and it worked fine, but I thought there might be something better. I'm using an i7 5820k and an Asus X99-A Mobo with 32GB RAM at 3000mhz.

Asus's AI Suite 3 has proven to be the most reliable auto OC platform I've encountered (when functioning correctly on suitable versions and BIOS). However, I still suggest manually overclocking or using AI Suite 3 as a starting point, followed by stress tests to verify stability.
