What is the advice regarding the use of XMP?
Hi guys,
I just started using XMP to tackle stuttering issues. It worked well until occasionally my computer would freeze. I changed the DRAM speed to 2666mhz for better memory performance: Cosair Pro RGB Vengeance CMW16GX4M2A2666C16. Should I adjust the voltage XMP is using?

Running memory diagnostics could help identify issues. Also, examine the Windows Event Viewer under System for any errors. In any case, how does the computer stop functioning? Does it simply freeze (if audio is playing, it becomes very noisy) and stay in that state until you restart it?
Performing memory diagnostics and examining the Windows Event Viewer for errors is an effective initial approach to identify the freezing problem. Detecting any reported errors can provide further insights into potential causes.
Concerning the freezing issue, understanding how it manifests is crucial for pinpointing possible reasons. Does the system freeze entirely, making it unresponsive and necessitating a hard reset? Or does the screen become unresponsive while the computer remains active in the background? Is the machine able to restart automatically, or is manual intervention required?
It would also be beneficial to record any specific patterns or triggers that lead to the freeze, such as particular applications or actions consistently causing the problem.
