In Fortnite on Ultra settings, performance drops to 60-80 FPS. CPU usage is at 50%, GPU at 80%, and RAM at 60%. The issue might be related to your hardware or settings.

Are you thermal throttling?

Check if your CPU has a water cooling system, whether it's overclocked, and if its VRM is adequately cooled.

GPU: 70C
CPU: 37C
CPU features water cooling with a heat sink attached to the MB.
The CPU isn't overclocked since it's not overclockable, and my GPU runs at 1923 MHz. It was originally factory overclocked to 1650 MHz, but I'm unsure why it remains that way. This shouldn't significantly impact performance. The monitor resolution is 3440x1440; I also have a second 1920x1080 screen, but disconnecting it hasn't noticeably affected performance.

this will likely be a GPU constraint, since the CPU isn't being utilized

You're just starting out with overclocking, that's great! Just remember to take it slow and follow the guidelines carefully. Good luck!

My suggestion is to turn off unnecessary options such as AA to boost frame rates. The 'ultra' modes are overly demanding for a system that doesn't see significant visual gains compared to their power consumption.

framerate isn't visible here, yet this clip displays comparable performance on a very similar configuration. Unless the video was made by you, it likely reflects a trend rather than a problem with your setup:
VRMs typically include a heat sink, but that doesn't confirm effective cooling. Regardless, since you're not pushing the CPU beyond its limits, it shouldn't be an issue. What kind of motherboard do you have?

Applications don't always rely on 100% performance. The main issue is likely the threading of the game. It will perform just as slowly as its slowest section. It's only at 50% because half the CPU can't be used by the game. You'd need fewer cores with faster speeds for a poor-quality game like Forknife.
