You tried fixing it and everything came back normal. Then you dug deeper into a Reddit discussion and discovered the fix was in an old thread about Bluetooth audio issues. It seems the problem arose when a saved Bluetooth device wasn’t connected, so removing your headset resolved it. That also accounts for why it worked well after reinstalling Windows, as you hadn’t linked your headset to your PC for a week. I’m not sure why a disconnected device would cause crashes, but it’s frustrating since I wanted to use the mic with my headset during games.
