What is EDC and why is it at 100%?

I saw edc at 100% which is normal. No cause for concern when beginning overclocking. Make sure your specs are solid—Ryzen 2700 (Hyper 212), OCZ zt 650w power supply, Msi x470 Gaming Plus motherboard with latest BIOS and balanced power settings.

Change your power plan settings. It might be in the Ryzen configuration, consider Windows Balanced or Windows High Performance. This setting indicates the electrical design current, showing how many amps your PC permits the CPU to draw.

It remains consistent at 100%, just settling to 99%. It’s okay if it stays at 100% consistently. The fluctuations should depend on the VRM’s capacity limits.

you should be able to up the limit under "control mode" in ryzen master. if its adjusting accordingly with the load, i wouldn't worry about it.

EDC refers to the board's electrical design current. It essentially means you're operating around 99% of the 90A limit, with a maximum of 180A. It serves more as a reference point than an urgent alert.
