Occasionally, games adjust the mouse speed differently depending on how fast you move it, causing inconsistency and making gameplay difficult. This issue appears in several titles and usually resolves after a restart, though it may return later. It seems to be related to Windows settings or mouse functionality rather than a hardware problem.

In-game and Windows acceleration features are disabled by default. Please specify the mouse type for better assistance.

gamesense mvp wired mouse, razer firefly v1 mousepad. The games don't include in-game acceleration and it disappears occasionally when switching between windowed and fullscreen, depending on the game. Overwatch tends to experience this in windowed mode, Doom Eternal often fixes it but sometimes needs a change, and Roblox is another game with this problem. It's quite strange and varies from game to game.

It seems your mouse is being handled like a controller. Adjusting the stick to the far side helps it jump for quicker turns. Verify your mouse settings for acceleration options as well.

Thanks for the feedback! Your Xbox 360 controller's right stick was behaving oddly, and it had some drift issues. Let me know if you need help fixing it.

This fixes the other problem where the mouse moves slowly across the screen. I'm still checking if it occurs when the Xbox controller is removed.
