I understand, I checked it and looked it up. All I found were ENB videos showing the game and its features. But then I discovered ENBoost, and honestly I have no idea what to think about ENB. Can someone clarify what an ENB is and explain the differences between mods like RealVisionENB and ENBoost? Your help would be really appreciated. Thanks for your patience.

I believe you're referring to ENB, a graphic mod that improves post-processing effects for enhanced visuals in games. It's often bundled with other mods to significantly upgrade the game's appearance beyond the standard settings.

Is it EMB? I've always referred to them as ENBs. Essentially, it's a full rebuild of the lighting engine that powers the game. The main distinction between ENB boost and realvision is that realvision is the original ENB version, while ENBoost is a patch addressing several problems the base game faced. For instance, in Skyrim, it previously required only 3.1GB of VRAM. With ENBoost, the same game can run on 3.1GB of regular RAM, effectively doubling the capacity for loading mods and plugins simultaneously.

I understand, let me adjust that. Regarding ENBoost, I recognize it’s not about appearance but optimization. If two ENB’s can operate together, there’s no apparent incompatibility mentioned.

It appears ENBoost enhances the performance of an ENB.

Yes, they can collaborate together. An ENB is a collection of mods designed to achieve a specific goal.

You might be using two ENB to avoid compatibility problems. ENBoost acts like a patch for the realvision version and the standard game, fixing issues from both and adding extra features.

It was created just to work with Skyrim, addressing restrictions on VRAM and RAM. ENBoost moved the limit to a different file so the game wouldn't detect it, allowing greater overall memory usage for better stability when using heavy mods.

Also, if you're curious about the impact of your ENB in games, just press F12. You'll definitely feel it.
