Hi, thank you for reaching out. I'm new to PCs, so I want to make sure I understand everything correctly. What is a 'cache' folder and can I remove it? I've heard online that clearing the cache for the EA app fixes problems, but I'm a bit worried about doing it myself. Any guidance would be really helpful!

This refers to information saved on your device to improve performance, avoiding web requests. For apps like the EA app, this includes personalized data such as box art and other specific details. Removing cache files is generally acceptable, though it might temporarily slow down loading the next time.

Thank you for the update. The EA session helper folder contained just a cache directory, which likely assists with a log-related problem I encountered. It appears this fix works, provided removing the cache isn't problematic.
