What is a Bluetooth transmitter?
Unsuccessful results again, sorry for the attempt. Could you check if there are any unusual issues with the transmitter or pairing process?
I just tested with several devices, and each one tried to connect to my PC, asking if it could pair. The event viewer lists only the devices that are paired, nothing out of the ordinary. Device Manager shows AVRCP in use, but your device needs A2DP support. I should look it up a bit.
Is there a method for my PC to enter a pairing mode similar to AirPods, where it automatically connects with another device? Right now, when I add a device, it shows as unknown, but I clicked on some options and thought I linked to the neighbor's TV.
it seems to be searching for a specific speaker type using a Bluetooth device. The suggested solution is to use the second one in TX mode and the first in RX mode.
And I will inquire about the cables being used? Are all the cables included those that came with RX and TX? When it comes to audio-related issues, I often think about TRS (Tip, Ring, Sleeve).

Maybe a mismatched connection.
Hello,
Yes i'm just using the cable that came with the transmitter/receiver.
It does seem like it is a issue to how kerberos says, and it is only looking for a certain bluetooth device to pair to. The transmitter works perfectly with bluetooth speakers and headsets, as I just hold down the pair button and they just find each other no problem. Seems like the issue is pairing it to devices where I have to manually select what device to connect to as the transmitter/receiver doesn't appear in the discovered devices (except in RX mode, but that is the opposite of what I'm trying to do).
I have done some more looking around and it seems like it may be possible to use linux to fake being a bluetooth speaker and try connect that way. Though im currently having issues getting bluetooth to work on a virtual machine. I'm kinda thinking there may there some latency issues with a virtual machine, but kinda experimenting at this stage to see if anything can find the device.
Worst case scenario is I buy another of the same device to act as the receiver. Unfortunately they are quite expensive in NZ 😥
I managed to reach out to the device's support team. They couldn't connect it to a PC either, mentioning that the protocol the PC uses might not allow it to function as a receiver. Eventually, I purchased a separate receiver that worked properly.
