Need assistance, everyone!
I have a 2-year-old HDD that I'm trying to connect into my new PC build. I don't want to lose the data and I don't have a backup. Is there a way to install it easily without deleting anything?
I already have two M.2 SSDs installed, and my motherboard is Z790 Gigabyte Gaming X AX.
If your OS drive is connected but the HDD lacks an operating system, connecting it to your motherboard's SATA port should be straightforward. Attach the drive after turning off the system and unplugging it from the power source. Once activated, verify its presence in the BIOS, proceed to the OS GUI, and navigate to File Explorer (for Windows) so the drive appears.
