What GHz did you increase the 2700X to? If you're running the standard cooler, consider returning it to stock settings since the processor already achieves nearly its full potential with its built-in boost clocks. Overclocking might yield a slight performance boost, but only if proper cooling is available. Otherwise, too much heat could lead to throttling when under stress.

To reinitialize your BIOS, there might be an option within your BIOS settings to reset everything to the default state. Alternatively, you can open the side panel of your case when the system is turned off and unplugged, then either remove the visible CMOS battery cell for a few seconds or connect the CLEAR CMOS jumper pins on the motherboard, which should erase its current configuration and restore the defaults. The guide that accompanied your motherboard can provide more specific instructions tailored to your model. You may also find a digital manual on the manufacturer's website if you don't have it available.
