I considered switching from i5 12400 to i3 12100 if it wasn't essential. I'm checking if the i3 12100 works well for 3D tasks like Blender, Maya, and similar software. For rendering, I might rely on my RTX 3060. I saw on YouTube that the i3 12100 can run many programs, so the main concern is performance rather than compatibility.

You require a lower-end CPU because it may struggle to handle the tasks if you're using the software as intended.

There won’t be any negative outcomes. Processing jobs will simply require more time on a slower processor compared to a quicker one.

It seems the process will also influence the timeline. I thought the rendering would be okay while using 3060.
