Most games are available now, though some might not allow full customization and performance. Still, you should be able to play with a single monitor at 1080p. It’s better to skip the Z97 chipset if you want stability, or switch to an i5-4690K and upgrade your graphics card to something like an H87 series. The Z97 is mainly for overclocking, which your i5 can’t handle.

When using a locked CPU, choosing Z97 isn't beneficial (despite its low cost). An H97 would be sufficient, or you could opt for the 4690K.
