What game would you choose to purchase?
I have two choices: Shadow, Mordor, or Elder Scrolls Online. I’m unsure which one suits me best since they’re different experiences. Which do you think offers the most fun and great gameplay? Please share your reasons so I can help you decide better. Thank you!
The Middle Earth gameplay is enjoyable, but I haven’t completed it yet since I downloaded it on the console and now dislike using the controller for attacking with the bow.
You're facing a tough decision between two worlds you both adore, and it's genuinely difficult. This isn't the epic fantasy clash of LOTR versus Elder Scrolls, but a focused single-player experience against a less impressive MMORPG. Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor delivers an engaging narrative, stunning visuals, and offers a substantial playtime if you're willing to invest your time. I managed roughly 40 hours before finishing the main story. TESO stands out among MMORPGs, though its design quirks—like needing third-party plugins for a decent HUD—can be frustrating. It functions more like mods for online play, but it shines when played with friends and offers a deep grind. Opinions vary: some enjoy the challenge, others prefer something simpler. Overall, Shadow of Mordor remains the stronger choice while you play it, but TESO provides more opportunities to revisit and expand the world.
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and the reason? It’s up to you—whatever comes first I’ll choose.
The Elder Scrolls were not entirely broken; developers have released patches to fix issues.
Middle earth, I have both and SoM is much better. I can tell you that i haven't played TESO and I have it for PC. SoM is quite an enjoyable game, with a smooth combat system, good story, a god damn sound/soundtrack and voices, well the graphics are so good  and well, the world of LOTRO is so amazing! one of my favourites literary sagas and movies But if you enjoy Elder scrolls lore, the whole story of the saga it self, and competitive PvP, TESO is your option.
I really enjoyed Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, though I'm not a fan of The Lord of the Rings. Still, I won't forgive them for turning an intense boss fight into a boring one—still, the game isn’t about that. I didn’t like ESO either, but honestly, I only played it for a short time and it just didn’t hold my interest.
Shadow of Mordor is an amazing game and I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every bit of it. There was not a single time when I was get bored by it. Want another squeal of it with more action though. Fingers crossed.
Shadow of Mordor GOTY is worth around 10 euros on G2A TES:Online, which costs 15 euros. I've heard there are sometimes bans for purchasing TES: Online, though I don't know why.
