If you're unsure between the two, I’d lean toward Dark Souls 3 for its challenging combat and rewarding gameplay. For Total War: Warhammer, it’s a solid choice but might feel more suited to strategy enthusiasts who enjoy long-term planning. Both fit your budget, but Dark Souls offers a more intense experience if you’re up for it.

It mainly comes down to what you enjoy in games. If you prefer RPGs, try Dark Souls 3. For something less repetitive, go with Warhammer.

I didn't vote. Both look like they're excellent games. If TW:W would be your first strategy game, it might also be a great experience for you, since it will be all new, and it's got great reviews.

i’ve only played ds3, but i thought it was really great and one of the few titles that’s worth its price. there’s plenty of time to enjoy it, especially in pvp if you’re into it. regarding costs, you can usually find a ds3 for around 40-45 dollars as a key (recommendations from g2a, kinguin, instant cd keys, etc.). i also heard about buying an xbox 360 controller for 26 dollars or an xbox one controller for 50 dollars. i don’t know if you were aware of those prices since you spent 100 dollars, but maybe this could cover both games. anyway, i hope you don’t regret your choice. hf

I've completed Dark Souls 3, so I can tell you you're in for a great experience in PvP and PvE with lots of fun to come!
