I'm setting up Windows 7 on an extra drive to boost my old HD series GPU, and I need the right drivers for the installation. What drivers is the installer highlighting? Which ones are essential? I have: B250m Bazooka I5 7400 with 2x8GB DDR4 2400 CL17 Radeon HD3650 (maybe GPU-Z isn't certain), plus other drives.

Check the latest BIOS update for your system. The chipset driver link you shared should help get it running smoothly on Windows 7 64-bit. For overclocking, consider using the built-in Catalyst tool or the AMD support page for the Radeon HD series mentioned.

I think MSI Abyss would be a good fit, right? I tried it on a mobile HD 3200 and it worked well.

Windows indicates that no drivers are detected, regardless of the directory shown.

What's the point of using Device Manager? Just run it from an .exe or .msi file. Simple question, but is this your first Windows?

Windows won't set up without the right drivers. It seems to be an issue. I haven't installed Windows 7 myself, but I did use it and installed drivers.

It seems your system is quite recent. You'll likely need to add USB or SATA drivers through the installer. Some discussions about this topic exist on forums.

This applies to setting up Windows rather than just installing it. You typically don’t need a driver unless you’re using specialized hardware like a RAID or SAS card. The DVD you’re using should appear in the Windows installer once the installation begins. After the Windows logo shows, your drives should be listed as selectable options.
