You're getting an MSI G274QPX and need a display cable that handles 1440p at 240Hz with HDR.

The screen usually includes one, though the guide marks it as optional. A regular CableMatters cable works just fine. https://a.co/d/a0xrw2j Regarding HDR, turn it off—most budgeted edge-lit displays struggle with it and show poor results.

No, I haven't received the monitor yet. Should I try playing Luck to check if it includes one?

Yes, there is a difference. The name G274QPX and G274QPXDE refer to distinct entries, likely due to variations in cataloging or labeling.

Local differences are improbable, the actual visual output remains nearly consistent.

They look identical in terms of design and performance, so I don’t believe there’s any distinction between them.

If your display doesn’t include a DP cable (the most common ones are HDMI), I recommend investing heavily in quality. A VESA certified DP2.0/2.1 cable from DPLink, Club 3D, Silkland, etc., will suit both current and upcoming requirements. All my HDMI and DP cables are up-to-date so I can upgrade to higher resolutions and refresh rates when needed.
