I'm dealing with a situation where my CPU is solid, but my GPU is outdated. It's not ideal, but I've found that Racing Games perform well on a less powerful GPU, delivering high frame rates without any interruptions. I managed to hit 144 FPS on my 144Hz display. Do I miss out by choosing a 3900XT? Probably. I might consider swapping to a 3950X later, or vice versa. For my main focus, editing matters more than gaming. Regarding Borderlands 3, it includes a built-in latency monitor. I usually see around 50-60 FPS, with my CPU lagging just a bit and my GPU a touch slower. The benefit is consistent performance—very few drops or stutters, making low FPS gaming surprisingly smooth.
