I own more than 900 hours on DayZ SA and wasn’t really excited about H1Z1. I considered buying it but the Steam store page made me hesitate. I dislike games that require payment to win. The mixed user reviews seem to criticize the developers for breaking their promise of a free-to-play experience. I believe the game should stick to a fixed price, like £20, rather than offering purchasable items such as guns, backpacks, food, and water drops. Have you tried playing it? What are your thoughts?
I've been purchasing a lot of early access titles lately, but I need to cut back soon.
I haven't tried it, but after seeing boogie2988's live stream today, it seems like a faulty server simulator.

Despite the option to pay for air drops with potentially valuable weapons, anyone could harm you and take those items away. It’s also been mentioned that air drops typically include survival gear and unique clothing more than anything else. I’ll consider it but feel it lacks substance right now, so I’ll wait a while.
