What do you think of Dimmdrive
Have you encountered Dimmdrive? (http://store.steampowered.com/app/337070/) I just discovered it on Steam and am very interested. Do you know anything about it or whether it truly impacts the real world?
It's essentially a RAM disk that mimics an SDD. Performance will improve, but storage capacity is limited. After powering off, the data disappears unless saved externally. Parts of your RAM may become inaccessible for gaming or other tasks. Overall, not recommended.
It looks interesting. Not personally appealing, but still impressive.
Does it resemble a RAM DIMM swap? Probably you should check how much RAM your games require, since most PCs don’t support that.
It's completely wasted effort. By the time it's in RAM, you might already be playing the game.
Considering possibilities beyond gaming, such as running a forum or server on a RAM disk could offer significant advantages due to the exceptional speed.
